Are we back to German cars and French cheese again?

To avoid the cliff edge, they'll need to negotiate a transition period, which will need majority support, some Nations might see the opportunity to give it to the UK with aplomb.
This cliff edge has been mentioned the day after the out vote doom and gloom - how far are we off that cliff edge -@foot long hot dog ?
according to gideon and DC we would be at the bottom of the ocean by now in fact the day after the vote!
what happened to the emergency budget??????????????......

we have to and will do get a ok trade deal with the EU when they realise they can't punish us to cut their nose off to spite their own faces - then we can trade Worldwide without the EU butting in - their aim is to punish the 2nd biggest contributor and expect a massive pay off - they need to be told where to get off our contributions over many years have built an organisation that the british public did not want a EU parliment that has been telling us what to do!
Hence the OUT vote even Dennis Skinner voted against Corbyn last night!

Like I said. Maybe.

The EU, and indeed quite a few on here are still in the early stages.....

You can see this all the time from different folk in the EU and the Remain camp......

Folks, what's happened here is Pete realises that his argument has been destroyed so he now tries comedy to save face....

You seriously underestimate the UK's position. They might do, I seriously doubt it, but if they do so what, we will remember and what goes around comes around

Feel free to think that. But what signal is that sending to the rest of the world? You'll also still have to fulfill your responsibilities as a part of NATO.

Let me just flex my military muscles. Now trade with me!

Let me put it another way. We currently lead an enhanced forward presence battle group in Estonia as part of NATO. Now just imagine that the EU stitch us up and punish us for Brexit. Now imagine that the Russian war games two years from now actually roll over the Belarus border, through the Sawalki zone and meet up with Kaliningrad. Now what ? Do you think the mood in the UK would be, one of let's go to war with Russia, in Europe, to save the three Baltic countries who just stitched us up with the rest of the EU ? What do you think the current view of the three Baltic countries would be, seeing as this scenario is the most likely one to happen ? Let's stitch up the UK because we can ?....

This is not about flexing muscles, it's about a willingness to help......

Honestly don't think Germany will be too bothered. They hold the upper hand, and could easily increase trade with others. Germany as a brand, has never been stronger.

You also forget that Germany wouldn't like anyone else leaving the EU, so why would they make it look easy?

I think there are 800,000 Germans employed making cars for the UK, a premium market where cars sell at a high price, but who's bothered, there is always France and Italy who love buying foreign cars, or maybe Poland who are currently putting together a legal argument to sue Germany for WW2 reparations. Malta ? Luxembourg ? Cyprus perhaps ?......I hear Romania have lots of money......

So according to your logic. 1% of all Germans. (including kids) are making cars for the UK. Are you high?

What utter plums that is

VAG make over 10 million vehicles a year worldwide. 500,000 of which hit the UK market, if tariff price increases and lead time delays reduces their market share by as much as 20%, than that's only 1% of their total volume.

Given the piss weak pound this market is already far less profitable for them, and the idea that having to divert 1% of their global production to new, emerging or more profitable markets is going bring them to their knees is completely clueless

Stitched us up? We voted to leave. We're the ones who have flicked them the bird here. It's like cheating on your partner and then expecting her to be grateful.
