Wonder what people will be saying when the pound buys you 0.80 euros...
the side of my bus reads: "the pound collapsed because of Brexit, so your fare has increased because it already costs more to import fuel, and we haven't even left yet"

The 'position' papers aren't clarification, they are exactly what is on the tin, the 'position' of the government regarding an issue. The government keeps trying to gloss over the cracks in its position. The island of Ireland - ECJ will have a direct say. On the ECJ - it will not have a direct say in the UK' - which is not the case.
The government has backed itself into a corner with its 'red lines' and as such it has become imperative for them, to show that these 'red lines' have not been moved. Even though they blatantly have. Political vanity is no way to run 'negotiations' as it just reveals how incompetent the Tories are. They will keep trying to convince people day is night and night is day.
This is a very testing time for the Tories and the May government aren't up to the mark. In a way the BBC are letting them off lightly.
They will pay billions for access to trade with the EU -the customs union and single market - and the other institutes. The only thing that will change will be visas for EU nationals wanting to come into mainland UK and claim a 'great victory'.
Continues.... "but our exports are incredibly in demand so life is good"...........
I'd like to see people actually believe in ourselves, rather than believe we are useless.......

Nope, even though the currency is collapsing, the trade deficit is growing rapidly. Try again?
UK trade deficit widens
More bad news! Britain’s trade deficit has widened, due to a surge of imports.
The total trade deficit jumped by £1bn in May, to £3.1bn - a worse reading than the City expected.
Here are the key points from the Office for National Statistics:
- Between the 3 months to February 2017 and the 3 months to May 2017, the total UK trade (goods and services) deficit widened from £6.9 billion to £8.9 billion.
- The widening of the trade deficit in the 3 months to May 2017 reflects a higher rise in imports than the rise in exports of goods, in particular transport equipment (cars, aircraft and ships), oil and electrical machinery from non-EU countries; a decrease in exports of services also contributed.
- Between the 3 months to February 2017 and the 3 months to May 2017, the total UK trade (goods and services) excluding erratics deficit widened from £8.6 billion to £9.3 billion.
- The total UK trade (goods and services) deficit widened by £1.0 billion between April and May 2017 to £3.1 billion, following a narrowing in April 2017; this reflects an increase in imports of goods on the month following a decrease in April 2017.
I'd like to see people actually believe in what is demonstrably happening before their eyes, rather than in vapid platitudes like "believe in ourselves"
Look, I could believe in myself all I want, but if I'd deliberately took a sledgehammer to my leg before a fight with someone, I think I'd have less chance of winning that fight than with two non-broken legs.
And that's what Brexit is - crippling ourselves for no apparent reason.
How......
So what would you do.....
Stay in the Single Market and the Customs Union.
If there must be Brexit, let it at least be harmless, not suicidal.
It's impossible to have Brexit and remain in the single market or the customs union. The EU and the UK both agree on that.....so now what would you do......
Where has the EU stated that both are impossible? And no, "the UK" has by no means agreed on this. Anything but.
I don't recall being asked about the Single Market or the Customs Union

Norway and others are in the Single Market but not the EU. Turkey is in the Customs Union but not the EU.
All opinions listed in the grenade poster seem right. Certainly genuinely held.
Figures on my bus came from the Office of Budget Responsibility at the time of referendum, as the total over 5 years attributable to leaving the EU.
OBR independent of either side.
No reason as yet to think that they got it wrong.
What would you paint on your bus today?
Oh, just to name a few... we have withdrawn our massive influence from one of the largest trading and political blocs in the world, we are and will continue to experience massive economic upheaval due to immediate uncertainty and long-term lack of power on the world stage, putting at risk the Union of the United Kingdom due to massive disagreement between the regions that consist of it, whilst weakening the political status quo on the continent that has achieved European peace since World War 2.
It is bad for literally everyone, and has been done for no practical reason whatsoever. We were a big fish in a big pond - we will now be greatly diminished; there's no going back to the days of the British Empire, which is seemingly the rose-tinted view of this thing from most. We cannot compete on a similar playing field outside of the EU than what we have done and could have done in it.
You trust politicians to act in the best interest of the people - they have failed spectacularly.
