No doubt discussed to death already, yet I still wonder:

Brexiteers, how, specifically, do you think Brexit will improve your lives?

And conversely, perhaps a bit difficult to quantify, but how much decline in your standard of living are you willing to endure for the sake of Brexit?

Are you happy with the progress in the year since the referendum?
No I'm not happy. That's the Tory's for you though, place a remainer as their leader who chats endless bubbles and says "Brexit means Brexit" as though that means something all the while stalling for time so she and her other idiotic remain colleagues look for ways to derail the process. I dont know why sone remainers are so anti-Tory, their your biggest allies on this issue. They have no intention of making a success of Brexit or even seeing it through properly.

I know mate, but still, I reckon quite a few did.
Probably mate but plenty of Tory's also voted remain you know. Almost all the big wigs of the Conservative party wanted remain. The referendum really was very unique in terms of the how people voted and how different so many people's reasons were for doing so. One of the few occasions when party politics meant very little in terms of the electorate.

Yep. I see that prize knob Carney was on the news at lunchtime preaching doom and gloom again. When are people going to stop listening to financial gobeens like him?

And I see prosecutions have been lobbed at top bods from Barclays Bank. As I said: "...Plus ça change, rien ne change..."

Bruce it was working well before in fact we had more industry firms are still coming here knowing brexit is happening?

Not sure that's true. There are quite a few articles from business papers and websites saying the opposite. I would imagine the only companies setting up or expanding are those that don't rely on European employees and have no concern about trade within Europe.

The general consensus is that a lot of companies are planning to leave or adjust their operations depending how bad it gets. Just read the summaries below from the FT this is just one example

https://ig.ft.com/sites/brexit-companies/?mhq5j=e3

Heres another about gaming companies

Some of the banks based in London too are planning long term strategies that may hurt the UK.

I know a guy who's plant manager for a hearing aid manufacturer in the North West, they employ hundreds. They've categorically said they will move the plant to the continent if the deal does not closely match the terms we currently have.

The reality is that many companies are waiting for the conclusion of negotiations, but unless the result closely mirrors our current relationship they will look to move sharpish. To think otherwise is simply deluded.

But hey, £350m a week for the NHS. Yeah !

It's just common sense really. They'll hold out hope for single market access somehow, but they'll have contingency plans in place and loads of firms will pull the trigger on relocation within the next 9-12 months.

That's why I call Brexiteers 'delusional' - because they're either that, or knowingly lying about the obvious.
