It's just common sense really. They'll hold out hope for single market access somehow, but they'll have contingency plans in place and loads of firms will pull the trigger on relocation within the next 9-12 months.

That's why I call Brexiteers 'delusional' - because they're either that, or knowingly lying about the obvious.
remoaners out in force hey ho

No doubt discussed to death already, yet I still wonder:

Brexiteers, how, specifically, do you think Brexit will improve your lives?

And conversely, perhaps a bit difficult to quantify, but how much decline in your standard of living are you willing to endure for the sake of Brexit?

You're not going to get an answer to that that makes any sense to you.

As for standard of living, you won't get an answer to that because they believe Brexit means a return to the Land of Hope and Glory that they see in their rose-tinted spectacles.

And I make no apologies for scorning people who voted to leave. They did so by not looking at the thing logically, and deserve everything they get as a result.

I simply feel sorry for those who are going to be hurt by this in the long run and have no choice in the matter anymore.

No there's life outside Europe - stuck in the mud attitudes like yours and ignoring a democratic vote! !

I'm not ignoring it; I simply find it unbelievably stupid.

And of course there's life outside Europe, but it's the difference between living in a good house and a shack. Sure, you could live in the shack, but why the hell would you if given the choice not to?

If me looking at numerous economical and political advantages to staying in the EU is a "stuck in the mud" attitude, then I'm proudly stuck in that mud mate.

You do realize most of the people that moved there as EU citizens as well as the companies did so for the same reason they went to my homeland of Ireland. Access to Europe and a growing market. That and access to an abundant wealth of talent who could legally work there. It helped also in some cases that the pound is strong.

But with Ireland staying in the EU they may prosper from the UK exit.

Also even if the UK guarantees to give amnesty to the EU citizens who refuse to take up British citizenship as well so far it was not needed then your immigration system will need a massive overhaul with new visas and a lot more people looking after it. Just ask Australia and the US how hard that is. That and some of these people may still leave.

Definitely short term once the final deals are stuck and the exit official i see the UK struggling.

I know exactly how it came about mate - on the basis of the uninformed, lies and xenophobia.

I accept the UK voted to Leave; I also accept that 52% of the electorate were bloody idiots for doing so.

You'll see for yourself in a few years why I think your vote was stupid. There's no point arguing for staying in now, it's too late - you've made your bed, lie in it.

So you can't except defeat lies on both sides yes?

Well firms have came here in droves since the referendum!

Well firms have came here in droves since the referendum!

Name them....

Its easy to say big foreign corporations (or firms as you put it) have moved there prove it?

I have googled it and all i get is talk of companies leaving.

Granted there have been more startups but what evidence suggest big firms have faith in the UK?

I managed to only find Nissan increasing its base and Wells Fargo purchasing a building. Amazon also increasing staff but that's always going to happen.
