Apple google and a larger Nissan plant off the top of my head ?
Apple and Google have moved to the UK?
Ok.
Apple google and a larger Nissan plant off the top of my head ?
you said "came here in droves since the referendum"Apple google and a larger Nissan plant off the top of my head ?
Growth up - employment up stock market up Remoaners reckoned on a emergency budget and the economy going of a cliff edge not happened blame Brexit for everything!you said "came here in droves since the referendum"
the 3 companies you mentioned are already there. Apple had already committed to building the European base there. Sure its being built for the last 3 years i believe, but they were already present in the UK.
Same with Google but as they expand they are hiring more people in all of their places including the UK
Again Nissan is the same they are already there but they had decided to built a bigger plant to do more stuff in. Bigger capacity better laid out tech etc...
All will hire yes...
But its not a sign of leading tech companies going there in their droves as you suggested.
Also most companies plan way ahead so their plans were most likely in stone more than a year ago. Trump tried to claim he got new jobs in the US under the same pretense but in fact the companies he mentioned had already made the plans long before he took office.
Microsoft then - glsophate weedkiller sales are booming if you have done the deeds yetlolApple and Google have moved to the UK?

More doom and gloom bruce - a major firm invest and you said the same thing about Nissan! From the Google perspective at least, there are many reasons why they would want to be in London, whether that's the quality of the universities, availability of talent and so on, but I'm fairly sure they're here in spite of Brexit rather than because of it, and if the things that make Britain/London attractive at the moment (particularly around access to talented academics and coders), then they'll be off in a shot.
Still timeI havnt I am afraid.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/07/12/record-80-new-companies-being-born-an-hour-in-2016/So you accept no big firms have moved to the UK since then right? Just existing companies taking on more bodies or building new shiny buildings.
https://home.kpmg.com/uk/en/home/me...ractive-despite-uncertainty-presented-by.htmlOk so we are clear. I did acknowledge that startups happened last year in the UK. Go back and read my post. I do accept that.
Your comment said many firms moved the UK after the referendum. You were alluding to foreign investment and major corps moving there.
That's what i questioned not that actual Brits started their own companies.
stick to The Ross page you're better off therelolCome on man you are reaching now. So because KPMG reckon London is the 5th most attractive city for tech companies it is suddenly going to drive the market?
That's KPMG with an opinion piece on their own website who are most likely looking for business too from theses potential suitors haha!!
They don't even reference any companies or quote any CEO's. Other than giving a list of well known CEO's
