We are leaving -YES so once we leave what's your problem if you like or want to be dictated to by a zero growth organisation thats costing us 8 billion per year, and causing us free unemployed movement the fine it will stop it will take time - it is complex on their side not ours we then can trade world wide with tariff free negotiated deals - how the hell do New Zealand and Australia cope ????
Why do we have to be restricted by 27 other countries ?
read my post it will not be easy but doable!
The remainers have now come out in force again they forget we voted OUT!

You seem to forget though that geography dictates who your biggest trade partner will be and that, for us, is the EU and nothing can change that.

Regardless of whether or not we implement other deals with the US, NZ, AU etc (putting aside the fact would a small country like ours be able to create as good a trade deal as the EU would be able to formulate etc) we still need an economically viable arrangement with the EU - what do you want that to involve?

Your argument seems to be Brexit means Brexit but you lack coherence as to what you want Brexit to actually be. Do you want to join the EEA or rejoin EFTA? Or do you want a deal like Switzerland outside of those institutions ?

This here shows how ill-equipped you are to understand the current system and argue a coherent position as to what Brexit means to you. Leaving the EU in any shape or form (ie a soft or hard Brexit) will be by far the biggest challenge our Govt. will likely ever face for decades in terms of economic, constitutional and political challenges.

Do you not remember the referendum 17 million like me understood why to vote OUT!

6th largest economy in the world !
For now...

How well do you think we'll be if we don't get a good trade deal with our biggest trade partner in order to regain some sovereignty? We certainly won't be the 6th biggest economy anymore. As I said before the option on the table can be categorised as either economic prospects and benefits vs sovereignty. If we choose the isolationist path then

And so you've repeatedly said. But you've repeatedly failed to state what you think 'out' will actually mean in terms of what the UK should focus on in regards to what happens next re trade deals.

It seems that you fail to understand the impact of such a decision if you're unable to articulate what you actually want out of Brexit... so I'll ask again - what do you realistically want out of these trade talks?

Ha geography - in the days of modern travel far better now before we joined the common market look I voted for that trade deal with 7 countries in it - talking of geography European eastern block countries countries from the eastern block were never in the common market the traveling distance is not an issue stop using smoke and mirrors tactics in your posts!

No 1 doom monger of the day - the talks have begun a long way to go ok!
FGS stop trolling me!

Geography certainly still plays a substantial massive factor as to who our biggest trade partners are and will be, regardless of any trade deals we'll be able to make with othee small countries like NZ etc

It's hardly smoke and mirror tactics - it's reality. You're the one dealing in rhetoric that people voted out, but are not building on what the terms of Brexit actually means

Yes 17 million 52 % which won the Brexit vote are you a bitter remainer by any chance??????

Nope. I accept the outcome of the non-legally binding referendum. But I don't think it's bitter nor wrong to discuss what should happen next - if anything it's both logical and reasonable to discuss what Brexit should actually mean... do you disagree with that notion?

I'm hardly doom-mongering or trolling you. I was simply wanting a civil discussion as to this issue yet you're unable to articulate a coherent picture as to what Brexit actually means.
8 quotes in the last 15 minutes in my in box really - I am a Brexitier hardly going to agree with you am I?

And I have the same number of quotes from you in my inbox.. it's simply a civil discussion - there's been no name-calling or trolling.. I just wanted to ascertain what people think Brexit should mean.

And I asked whether you disagreed with the notion that we should discuss what any trade deal with the EU should involve? But you've had 8 attempts to articulate a non-generic position as to what Brexit should involve (e.g. EEA, EFTA etc) ... do you not know what form you want Brexit to take? (It's okay if you don't, as I've said before it's a complex issue..)
