Brown thank goodness told that depot to leave us in the £!But he hasn't? Blair and Brown set out the requirements that the Euro failed to meet. It's beyond question.

yes anyone can answer wrongly!I answered your deflection Joey.
You've still swerved my question though.
Brown thank goodness told that depot to leave us in the £!
I miss "prudent" Brown of the first few years. However, he then spent a load of money we didn't have and helped fuel the current belief that Labour is incapable of managing the economy.I miss Brown.
Which completely ignores the simple fact that most of our manufacturing industry is foreign owned and is based here to primarily access the EU market.
Imo you're not bothered because you've got no fiscal tie in with the aftermath, as can be said of most of your generation
yes anyone can answer wrongly!
Not bothered !!!......do you seriously believe that I have no concern for my children and their families.....I've seen some pretty baseless claims in this thread but this wins the prize........
Probably an unfair comment in your case then Pete, maybe I shouldn't judge your generation on people like my old man, so I retract that glib generalisation.
As a matter of interest what way did your kids vote?
That's what irks me about that sanctimonious git Blair. He thinks the general public are so thick they didn't know what they were voting for. I voted remain, but it was a close call, and I certainly believe that if the country reacts in the right way we'll be no worse off.Thanks........One would perhaps have voted remain, but currently works outside of the UK and didn't vote, one now lives in the USA and would definitely have voted to leave, two who live in the U.K. voted leave......oh and before anyone accuses them of not knowing what they would vote for, all are graduates and were very well read on the subject......
YOUAnd the prize for ironic post of the month goes to.....
The sky hasn't fallen in.
It seems the same people who told us we would be doomed if we didn't join shenghen, that we would be doomed if we don't join the common currency, and that we'd be doubly doomed if we left the EU, we're actually wrong again.
Would you believe it.
I don't think anyone said we'd be doomed did they?
