I am refraining from answering any Remoaners points as it just goes around in circles - when the not great Tony Blair takes up your mantle you are backing a loss cause!

It's too easy to fall into rhetoric with this, even I'm guilty of it too.

I'm not your enemy Joey. I want what's best for people like us. My great fear is that the argument has shifted away from the real root-causes of our problems to things that have, regardless of shortcomings, massively benefited us.

I'm not a remoaner, I'm just someone that cares enough about the welfare of people. If we just give those in power, regardless of situation, a blank cheque - then the chances are that our needs and desires wont be at the front of any future consideration.

We need to make those in charge of Brexit know that we want to protect our rights, protect our public services and protect the long-term future for our country. Right now, this simply isn't happening.

The. Eu is nothing to do with your last paragraph it's a weak opposition!

Any reduction in trade with countries within the EU (£220bn/£510bn total exports) will ultimately lead to a reduction in retrieved taxation. Our government aren't exactly renowned for heavy lending to uphold public services or ensuring individual rights - so all we will have are cuts.

Again it's a scare look attitude how about trading worldwide with no tarrifs ?
The EU will eventually for their benefit let us have some aspects of the single market it's called negotiations!

Its not a scare tactic Joe. Its a concern, thats all. You dont know any of ^^^^ that. Nor do I, or many others. But unlike some who seem to see nowt but milk and honey now, what I see is massive uncertainty, the political system in a perpetual circle of not really seeming what to do, how to do it, or what to agree and disagree on.

I also see a fractured nation, with some questionable folk, here, and in Europe, seeing that as a ripe field in which to plant their particular brand of politics.

That is the reality, right now.

Trade between the two counties is about even, but we are the biggest investors into the USA dont think Donald is daft enough to risk anything getting in the way of that.

But he will rightly look at the size of the UK market, compare that with the size of the US market, and say there's not a cat in hells chance that things will be 'equal'. He's in this for America. No one else.

But as i said , the fly in the ointment is the investment the uk puts into the USA .
He isnt going to cut his nose off to spite his face.
Maybe we should take a leaf out of his book and be all for the UK.

Yeah, yeah, the EU accounts for about 8% of our GDP. Even without the deals that they will have to do because they sell more to us, I'd be happy to just walk away from it......

Which completely ignores the simple fact that most of our manufacturing industry is foreign owned and is based here to primarily access the EU market.

Imo you're not bothered because you've got no fiscal tie in with the aftermath, as can be said of most of your generation
