I can't seem to get it through to you that Cummings is ONE MAN, with his own singular opinion. Did he influence EVERY SINGLE LEAVE VOTER? Don't be daft, of course he didn't!

Oh look, there's a straw floating by, better grasp it while you can, FLHD...

But nah, it was a sentiment...

This 'Alternative Facts' stuff isn't limited to the USA I see.

The Treaty of Versailles may have led to it Bruce - as for Le pen the UKIP MEPs do not team up with her party in the EU!
I do not support Trump, but when you put such a weak opponent against him , and he gets in wow
will our Labour party learn when putting Corbyn in ?
politics is a democratic view if Brexit unfolds and in five years time the UK is booming outside the EU /
if it goes the way you are indicating you need a strong opposition?
I still feel the EU will unfold in ten years time!

These are the people you are banking on to 'unfold' the EU. With friends like that...

He's the man who was the Director of the Leave campaign, he's the man who was responsible for pushing the £350m / NHS line, he's the man who oversaw research into the effect this claim had on voting intentions, and he's the man who said it was responsible for the eventual margin of victory i.e. the 650,000 swing, he's the man who admitted they knew it wasn't possible to deliver, as it was factually incorrect.

But of course you know better.

Ok mate

Another one who doesn't realise that both sides of the campaign had no political, nor decision-making, clout whatsoever.

It really has become utterly boring, all this hand-wringing, and attempting to portray the Leave campaign as liars. Go look at the Remain campaign in depth, and then come back at me and tell me THAT campaign was squeaky clean! You can't, because when you have gobeens like Cameron and Osbourne being major players in that campaign, you have total, utter, lying rats at the head of it.

Give it a rest, eh...?

No point, with you. Let's just all slavishly believe what those who have access to the media say. And that they hold sway over 17+ million of the population. Do you realise how absurd that is? I don't think you do. Clutching at straws. What that guy says now means absolutely NOTHING! I hadn't even heard of him until you mentioned him. I, like a lot of others, made my own mind up as to which way to vote. Your kind don't seem to like that. You appear to think we all followed what was put out in the media. If you want to go baaaaaaa, a lot more of us didn't...!

Now, now, now, this can't be right. We've had months of protestations and threats that any mere hint that the referendum was purely advisory rather than binding was somehow a perversion of our democracy. So either you buy that and therefore buy the notion that the promises people voted for were essentially a mandate that the government then had to deliver on, or you accept that it was advisory and the government could have told us all to stuff it and do what the vast majority of them believed was right beforehand (ie staying in). You can't have it both ways.

Bruce, do many things, but given what you know, please don't, for God's sake, try to insult my intelligence!

The Referendum was held. Fact.
The vote was to leave. Fact.
PM jumped ship. Fact
New PM said that she would follow the majority vote of the referendum. Fact.
That process is now in train. Fact.

Don't try to obfuscate matters with me. Surely you know it won't work. Go throw your 'traps' at someone else...

And this that you put in bold in quoting me: "...Another one who doesn't realise that both sides of the campaign had no political, nor decision-making, clout whatsoever..." is fact, whether you like it or not. The referendum was cross-party, and well you know it. Neither CAMPAIGN had any legal, law-enacting, powers, and well you know it. Give it a rest...

Hahaha... do you care to give that one another try and perhaps have it make a modicum of sense?

Dear me.

Are you suggesting that the referendum, and the issues on which it was campaigned on by the leave side, has had no bearing on the kind of Brexit the government has pursued since the vote?

If you know the kind of Brexit the Government has pursued, the actual inside, infinite details, then you must be very high up in Government, Bruce.

To say what you have said in the above quote is, well words fail me. I will say no more for fear of offending you, or being banned...

lol

So the Leave campaign had absolutely no sway over the population's view on the issue whatsoever then? Right oh...

Whether you've heard of the Director of said campaign before is completely irrelevant, he was responsible for the strategy employed and you saw their slogans during the campaign.

The fact that your opinion was entrenched from the off doesn't mean that you can project that onto the rest of the population, to attempt to, is absolute nonsense. Go bother yourself to view the stats on WHEN people made their decision as to which way to vote.

You abrasive style and your dismissive and patronising tone is backed up by nothing other than meaningless hyperbole. My 'kind' prefer facts and rational logic based on what I've read on here.

See my previous post. It has more sense than yours above. Sorry if you don't understand a simple truth. Your problem, not mine.

You just said political campaigns have no political clout whatsoever. You can surely see the inherent stupidity of that statement?

Also, why are you constantly so aggressive? This is the reason why political threads were banned - just make your point reasonably, is it that hard to do?

1. I made my own mind up concerning the way to vote based on how I have seen things go since I voted in the 1970s in the original vote...

2. I'm not projesting anything onto the rest of the population - you are the one doing so. Go back and read your posts.

3. My style is direct and to the point. If you don't like that, while you are the same with your posts, then you are hypocritical. And if you don't like that, go back and read your posts.

4. Do you actually know what 'hyperbole' means...?

5. Facts and rational logic are what's missing from your posts. Rather you post a quote from an individual and hold that up as fact. It is a fact that he said it, it is not a fact that all he said is true - there is a difference. WHat you claim is not rational. It is not a logical premise. It carries no weight whatsoever to claim that one man speaks for all. Go back and read your posts.

Entertaining nonetheless, FLHD.
