1. I don't know why I should be a crutch for your laziness, but here goes anyway. Post #17569, previous page to this one!

2. "...Also when you do that please tell me how much the new Royal is costing, thanks..." Don't quite understand this. Figures are EQUIVALENTS, as I posted.

I find it a bit odd that you are defending the leave campaign, when we know both campaigns were based on lies.

"We send the EU £350 million a week. Let's fund the NHS instead."

One lie in many from both sides when's the emergecy budget, don't say we have not left yet since we announced to leave growth is up, employment is up - the £ has found it right level - tough times ahead no doubts DC and Gideon austerity is hitting home too many cuts - they swan off into new jobs it's that ire the voters should be aiming at they just took it for granted Remain would win - rats leaving a mess springs to mind !

You're spot on, Joe. Brexit is certainly a mess.

Depends on what pans out forecast say the EU may collapse in the next ten years anyway, as lot now lies in negotions in and outside the EU, and if we can control immigration sensibly worldwide also have a training programme of youth to carry out all trades to fill in the blanks of gaps in the skill shortage we are producing too many masters academic graduates for careers that are not there - Theresa May will be now judged on this if she gets a good deal, and we prosper worldwide then Brexit will have been a success - l feel we will pay to get certain assets without a polictical EU union, and have funds to spare to expand the points above!
If she fails Labour have to ditch Corbyn and put up a better electable opposition- I am all for trade I voted twice for free trade - not a berocratic EU Parliment costing us net loss of 8 billion per year, and rising!

Sean, come on, be sensible. I've never said I defended the leave campaign. I have always maintained that both campaigns told fibs. I have maintained that I made my own mind up as to how I would vote. I have yet to see ONE person on the side of 'Remain' come out and say that their side told lies. And in not so doing, while challenging those who voted out regarding the 'Leave' campaign, there is only one word to describe it (the stance of Remainers): hypocrisy.

And this '£350' million matter is really becoming tiresome now. I'm going to repeat it one more time, and then not bother to respond to any others who may bring it up. THE £350 MILLION FIGURE IS AN EQUIVALENT FIGURE, TO THE COST OF A NEW HOSPITAL. IT WAS NEVER GOING TO MEAN THAT THAT AMOUNT WOULD BE PLOUGHED INTO THE NHS EACH WEEK, SINCE SUBSIDIES REDUCED THE GROSS AMOUNT OF £350 MILLION TO A NET AMOUNT OF A LESSER FIGURE. Not rocket science (to quote an awful phrase),simple common sense and knowledge...

No Sean, the mess was left behind by the smug PM Cameron and smug Chancellor Osbourne, who made no plans whatsoever for the eventuality of the vote being leave.

Utterly amateurish in the extreme from those arrogant upper-class twits...!!!

Those who then followed them (from their own party, I should add) had to try to begin to sort out the mess those two had left behind...

Dont most political campaigns, play on peoples fears/hopes and embellish the truth,if the electorate hang on to the words of mps they get what they deserve

You obviously don't know the difference between a sentiment/wish, and actual direct action. It is a sentiment because both sides in the campaign were only a 'lobbying' vehicle for votes, and both sides carried no political clout whatsoever. Both sides of the campaign ceased to exist at midnight on22nd June, as you know (I think).

In view of the present state of the NHS, one might say that there is merit in the above sentiment becoming reality before the Tory Party destroy the NHS completely...

The slogan that they used and I have posted, clearly states that was what COULD happen. It was therefore misleading, and in fact a complete lie, as they knew the actual amount was circa half of that anyway, so it could never have happened

Cummings has admitted exactly that in the piece I posted from him yesterday, and he has also referenced Leave's research that suggests it had enough effect in order to swing the vote.

Deny it all you wish, you're going against the words of the Director of the Campaign who both created it and then made it their lynchpin, which is laughable.

Presidential election pending in France, General election pending in the Netherlands.... both featuring front-runners who are making noises about withdrawing their respective nations from the EU.

It's about to get very interesting.

It's a fascinating dichotomy whereby you have on the one hand Brexiteers appearing to revel in the rise of extremism throughout Europe, whilst on the other continuing to peddle the theory that predictions of just this happening was somehow a lie.

Set aside all of that, you've got the psychology at play that ensures Brexiteers typically support Trump, Le Pen et al because to do otherwise would cause them to reject that which they have invested so much. And so we have a world whereby the anything but right and normal is being passed off as fine and dandy by people who you suspect (or hope at least) know better.

I can't imagine how the German people stood by and let Hitler rise to power though. Absolutely no idea.

The Treaty of Versailles may have led to it Bruce - as for Le pen the UKIP MEPs do not team up with her party in the EU!
I do not support Trump, but when you put such a weak opponent against him , and he gets in wow
will our Labour party learn when putting Corbyn in ?
politics is a democratic view if Brexit unfolds and in five years time the UK is booming outside the EU /
if it goes the way you are indicating you need a strong opposition?
I still feel the EU will unfold in ten years time!

I can't seem to get it through to you that Cummings is ONE MAN, with his own singular opinion. Did he influence EVERY SINGLE LEAVE VOTER? Don't be daft, of course he didn't!

Oh look, there's a straw floating by, better grasp it while you can, FLHD...
