Messi is a lot more than a prolific goalscorer. In many ways, his goals are the cherry on the cake of his extraordinarily ability with the ball.

Haaland, meanwhile, was bred in the deep subterranean soils of Isengard with the sole purpose of becoming the ultimate goal machine (“Build me a striker worthy of Mordor.”)

It’s still very early days, but I agree that he’s on the trajectory to be one of the all-time legends of the game.

Imagine if he keeps this up for the next decade. Just unreal.
