They should be. I know plenty of advice had gone out across public sector to reduce impacts on people. Not sure about private sector.
Thats the green levies on energy bills on the fire. The cash influx so far has to be accounted for. Any and all improvements made through the green levies needs to be maintained. This can't be a reset and all progress lost...

Probably mate. I suspected that that card would be played, so I had a quick look whilst replying to @Jebus_lives . He obviously needs dressing up in full ppe and stuck in the back of an ambulance for a shift, but even that wouldn't change his mind because for these individuals, the right thing isn't custodianship, it's not what's reasonably safe for citizens, nor utilitarian principles, it's only maximising short term profits and minimising disruption to corporations, and probably only very specific ones at that.

I’m a bit more apathetic about this and climate change now. It’s not being taken anywhere near as seriously as it should do, and naturally some go that apathy eventually rubs off.
As usual it will be sheer panic when it hits, and the middle classes and poor will foot the bill for a low carbon state.
