Gibson could have killed someone. Valencia's crime is committed by loads and loads of people every single day. Lets not pretend it doesnt. Doesnt make it right or anything but there are also plenty of instances of fathers (and mothers I suppose if we reverse the roles) being screwed over as well.

There is deffo more to this than him just saying "nah im not paying for my kid, im rich." There has to be.

They may not have been fans but the people who paid to get in are and to see one of their players arrested prior to a game may have caused trouble. He should have been picked up as soon as they knew he was in the country.

well yeah that was another thing. They knew he was picked, they would have known he was in the starting XI. This must be one of the easiest arrests in history ... and they still couldn't do it. Is he still wearing his kit now? ha
