Dave I honestly cannot see anything happening on the stadium front for many a year.

Pleased to note on that article Mopyes talk of getting Coleman back, good.

They can say what they want, put whatever plans in front of us, but we know they aint gonna do anything, cause they cant afford it.

Here are the stadiums that ave made into Englands 2018 world cup bids, it gives a clear indication of the type of progress we need in the infrastructure of the club if we are to compete:

all we need to find now are....

1. someone that knows about pitches

2. make the celibate stephen fry the head of the bid committee so that there's no loose talk, in the hope of getting some action, although he would twitter everything.

Spurs new Stadium looks Phenomnal something like that would suit us down to the ground. The Forest one looks ace as well - how can Forest afford a new ground surely they are more skint then us.

Forest.... pipe dream at the moment mate.

Spuds also not a definate.

how the feck can Plymouth or Bristol build them ?

& the Olympic 1 looks like it'll have a hell of a lot of 'wet-seats.'

Thing with Spurs is though mate they have the sponds to do it. Dont know how Plymouth are going to it, they were in court fighting a minding up order recently, that said so were CXardiff who have a spanking new ground.

To be honest, i wouldnt mind the club taking on huge debt to fund a new stadium - as it pays for its self in the end - see Arsenal - but we wont.

correction....WE would end up paying for it with inflated ticket prices. I want to be able to afford to go watching us with my kids, and I don't just mean a couple of times a season, if we take on a massive debt and then put up ticket prices by the amounts that others have then I wouldn't be able to afford to go. Everton need to keep the fans that go now as they are their bread and butter, if the prices were hiked by 30 % as others have, and in some cases a lot more, then a lot of that fanbase couldn't afford to go.
I am happy to continue to watch them from the seat I have , rather than not watch them and have to search for streams.
