Welcome to the world of Walsh and Sam...

Really... Mangala.. this is embarrassing. hahahahaha.

I see him as being our Sakho like Palace did.

Very similar giraffe defender with a good hoof in him.
It’s a fair comparison tbh and I can remember plenty laughed when palace signed Sakho the “bambi on ice”. He was a rock for them and done very well.

Doesn’t mean this guy will follow suit of course as everyone is obviously different, but it serves as a reminder that everyone should be given a chance before judged.

Sam & Walsh "Lets loan out Sandro and Klassen, they haven't really played much and we dropped Sandro after he scored a goal - they obviously haven't found their feet"

Sam & Walsh "Lets get in Mangala, a player who makes so many unforced errors he makes Martina look like a defensive lynchpin - I mean Mangala obviously hasn't found his feet either, but you know he is coming from City"

We’ve fallen for it again. Pep giving mangala huge praise during the press conference in a hope to ship him out and our eyes lit up. Another premier league failure who just isn’t up to it. Why do we go for these rejects?

Surely it means one of jags holgate williams funes or Keane is on the way out then

Look at what we've done the last 3 seasons. What world beaters are going to sign? I know money has a big part of it but potential players looking in from the outside would want to see a club who hasn't just burnt through 3 managers. Stability is what's needed. Maybe that will come with manager number 4. Or is it 5?

He did the same with Kone at Sunderland as well. It’s part of model to avoid relegation.

He played brilliantly in the Manc derby but then was dreadful in the next game he played.

The pros:

- It's a loan
- He's quick
- He's left-footed

The cons:

- He makes Mori look reliable
- Him and Martina down the left side would be pure aids

The main thing with Mangala is his pace.

Which may help us push up a bit...

In all likelihood he'll end up playing at left-back like.

Which begs the question why the f don't we just sign a left-back

He does have pro's I cant even deny that, he looked quality for Porto... In Portugal.

In this league he has looked beyond crap tho... People doing a comparison with Sakho, Sakho still showed signs of the good defender he was at PSG at the RS, but their defensive flu contaminated him... Mangala has shown nothing, or very little, to suggest this is going to be anything more then a huge mistake.
