Reminds me of when Palace brought Sakho in. He was absolutely terrible at Liverpool, yet under Alladyce in a new team looked a world beater.

He’s a better defender that anything we’ve got. Do wonder at times who fans think we are going to go for. If he has gone elsewhere people would be crying why haven’t we gone in for him. More than happy to give him a chance. A loan with a view to permanent what’s to lose? If he’s bad we just send him back in the summer and look elsewhere. No harm in taking a look..
