Surely being brought in to play LB?
He’ll go 3 at the back, sit deep and absorb and hope to get at least one counter attack during the game

Lol at people queueing up to stick the knife in on a player they've probably seen play twice and formed their view. Last season he played 30 games on loan at Valencia. There are now two other teams trying to beat us to his loan signature: Barcodesand.... Valencia. I'm guessing they have a deeper understanding of the man's abilities than the expert views on here...
how was he at Valencia last season?
What, like not saying it three times while looking at a mirror?Watch how you speak on his name boy
In all fairness the expectation is different there. He's a bit of a grock in a City side who play on the front foot for 90% of their games and by all accounts he isn't quite that type of ball playing defender.
We, first and foremost, need defenders who can defend. Would help if they were reasonably athletic to boot. Mangala does have those qualities, albeit he hasn't hit the heights that he did at Porto, but then he's still only 26. Think he came into City with the pressure of a big fee over his head and hopefully he'll feel like he has a second chance at Everton.
What's become evident with us, more than ever, is that we need midfielders who are actual ballers, particularly in the central positions that Schniederlin & Gueye occupy. Nzonzi would've been a good step in the right direction.
We'd at least be able to take on Knowsley Safari Park FCImagine if he plays left back.
Mangala left back with Bolasie left midfield.
A giraffee and a donkey.
What a sight that will be.
I can only assume you don't rate Mangala either. Why would you want Hart. He can't get into a west ham side.
