This is the correct attitude to have.
Leeds were nearly Bankrupt and survived.
Wolves, Leicester, Villa, Newcastle all gone down and all come back up stronger than before.
Evertonians think we're some unique club / case but we're not - no club goes down because they have a great squad of players and/or are financially sound or ran expertly off the field - but it doesn't mean its the end IF it comes down to that.
We'll all be here as will Everton next season whatever happens in the coming games.
Leeds took god knows how many years, had a owner banned from owning them, went down again at one point, that isn't what any of us want right? After all it's looking likely it's them going down if we survive.
Or Newcastle who have been up and down and argubally only safe because they got took over by a country and spent a fifth of what we have spent to pull clear of the bottom 3.
The rest you have named all got bought out, wolves sold their soul to the devil to come up, villa had to be sustained by new owners to keep the players to promote them (still didn't bounce back immediately) , Leicester again bought out and made 3 signings that made a difference, were a few games from dropping again if I recall.
No 'big' team has gone down and benefited from the process. That's not what relegation does to a club.
A simple comparison would be us getting relegated would only be good if we managed to replace 15 players in the squad at once , replace the owner and managed to bounce back immediately and finish mid table the following season.
None of that will happen
