They're going to nail him to the cross here, they'll give him the maximum they can without giving the ****e the opportunity to cry 'victim'.

They should nail the clown up irrespective of the views and wishes of the cult, lets face it since he bit him the antics of the club and player - lying about Ivanovic accepting his apology, using the HFSG as a cover, insisting what length of ban would be acceptable, the club-led media campaign claiming he needs help etc etc - should be aggravating factors.

If its less than ten games it will be a farce, 14 games would be more reasonable given the failure of previous 7 and 8 game bans (in successive seasons) to improve his behaviour.

If he 'lied about Ivanovic accepting his apology', does that not constitute bringing the game into disrepute? Then that is 2 charges and the suspension would be as long as Barton's?

I doubt it though. The FA have been extremely lenient with Suarez they have not looked at any of his other 15 odd rakings of ankles, over the top tackles, eye-gouging, hair pulling, diving etc.. How can one player get so much special treatment by the FA?

If it was Fellaini that had a rap sheet as long as Suarez the LFC supporting media would want him put in prison, never mind suspended for 15 games.

And if it was a manu player well they want the book thrown at them.

They can still train and play in non-competitive games even on a long ban - at least that clown Barton was able to.

Don't think Cantona was, I remember something about him being unable to train ?

They should be saying that as it is an offence that falls outside the current examples of foul play they have taken advice from Rugby as it became a problem in that sport, the advice is to punish this instantly with a ban that will prevent anyone else from doing it.

I hope that they consider his behaviour immediately after he did it.

Di Canio got 11 games for his push on the Ref
Paul Davies got 9 for a nasty one

I hope it's for a period of time myself, with the backing of FIFA & UEFA where he is totally prevented from being anywhere near football.

If you bit a fan in the ground, what would your chances of going in there again any time soon?
