Don't think Cantona was, I remember something about him being unable to train ?

They should be saying that as it is an offence that falls outside the current examples of foul play they have taken advice from Rugby as it became a problem in that sport, the advice is to punish this instantly with a ban that will prevent anyone else from doing it.

I hope that they consider his behaviour immediately after he did it.

I think Cantona's was a time ban though compared to games.

You can get a, lets say, 5 month ban regardless of how many games are played in that time, this will prob create a different rule in regards to friendlies and/or training at club facilities.

Anything less than his previous ban would be ridiculous.

'We're banning you for 8 games over this Evra thing, and you need to watch your future conduct'

They'll look like utter bels if they give him less than that.

I'm thinking five games which would be a joke. This is the FA, remember. Duncan get eight games for a soft punch. Isn't a bite worse than a punch in the belly?

If they banned him for a period of time then this summer he'd have to go to.....

I still can't get my head around people defending him saying it's no worse than a bad tackle or a head butt.

He bit someone ffs. That's something animals do, not humans.

To be honest when I first saw the Fellaini head butt I thought that he would get over 3 games easily.

Bad tackles happen though, its football ffs.

I'd like to know the limit of their defence of him. Like where does it stop?
