I reckon he's done it to force a move, and I reckon thats why he did it at Ajax as well, so that he can play the 'Forced Out' card...... and also the club can.
Suspend him for a period of time that wont make it worth any club signing him until Jan, that way R/S are also receiving punishment as well for failing to control one of their players.

Cant see him getting any more then six, as they wont want to make biting more extreme then racisim, but he been banned for biting before and ive been told that the F.A cant take this into account.

but 4 of those would be for this season when they have nothing to play for, so basically he misses 2 games at the start of next season.
any ban should be at the start of next season.

A big thanks to Jamie Carragher for highlighting all of their players misdemeanours of recent years, that was a well thought out article lol

What Jamie laaaaaa obviously also fails to take into consideration, is that The Highway Rat (google it, one of my daughters favourite books at present) has previous.

So, you have to ask yourself, as the ban he received last time obviously did not have any effect, then surely a much more stern punishment should refrain the sweaty little s**t stain from doing it again. Of course give him counselling if he has anger management issues, before he seriously harms someone like the many occasions he has tried to this season.

This is what I cannot understand, how can any sane individual see this evidence and not think that a longer ban is justified regardless if who he plays for.

I would understand if they came out and said something like 'I can see a longer ban due to his previous but I hope he doesn't' but the outright apologising and deflecting is outright embarrassing and if Suarez needs help then psychiatrists would have a field day with with some of their fans.

I think the FA would want him out of their jurisdiction and into another league asap, tbh. He's been a massive headache for them and will continue to be so. If it meant pegging back the extent of a ban so it could help Liverpool sell him on, I'm sure they'll do that.

If true that Suarez lied that Ivanovic accepted his apology then surely the FA can't accept his 'feelings of remorse' as genuine.

The club will have advised Suarez on the course of action to take over an appeal to any ban, honestly don't see on what grounds they an appeal. Should get a further one match ban for frivolous appeal. Obviously bit of gamesmanship to see the player get a lighter sentence I think. Should be at least an 8 game ban, don't see how a player can receive a shorter ban for an second offence of the same magnitude. To appeal a ban over three games will further that club's image... go for it!

No chance. Making the ban smaller could just as easily result in him staying and learning nothing from the whole situation.

They'll give him a long ban and rightly so.

I fear that it will be around 5 games which will do jack tbh

Well, of course the smaller ban would be on the understanding at top level between LFC and the FA that Suarez is to be offloaded...which more than likely has been arranged well in advance of this incident anyway. There's no way Suarez is hanging around a mid-table PL club out of Europe and not guaranteed any CL for what looks like the foreseeable.

I'd endorse Reidy's hunch that Suarez knew what he was doing and has cut short the rest of his season - in effect keeping himself free of injury too.

I find that the most staggering development in this whole affair, tbh. How can someone up to their neck in ****e come out with a lie like that that can be easily refuted and thereby make himself look even more like a lunatic?

He's definitely mentally ill this feller. No question in mind.
