...the Facebook reds were incredibly noisy but in the last few months are totally quiet. You could vault their pre-season predictions to kingdom come if you were overly bothered. They'll come up from the sewers when something goes right, hope it's no time soon. Deluded has to be one of the most apt descriptors, how giddy they became breaking into the top 6 last season.
I just feel my "Liverpool losing matches I really want them to lose" quotent may have been used up in the Chelsea and Palace games last season
Hopefully I'm wrong and there's still much more losing for them to do

Judging by how they've shaped recently I'd say this is gunner run and run! In all my time watching football this is the worst shape I've seen them in. It may change, but unless Tranny Banger's got a magic wandI just feel my "Liverpool losing matches I really want them to lose" quotent may have been used up in the Chelsea and Palace games last season

I dont think the result at the Bernabeu is in doubt. Real Madrid win that.
The real issues are:
1) how much Liverpool concede, because GD may well be crucial in this group. For that reason gnashers will park the bus and hope to keep it down to a single goal or two - and he has 'permission' to do that from a fanbase who expect nothing more than a hiding.
2) what happens in the other group game. If there's no winner in that game, Liverpool will be laughing their bollocks off at having their fate well within their own hands - even after two losses to Madrid. Only falling a point behind the other two teams: they'd have snatched at that before the two Madrid fixtures were faced.
There needs to be two wins in that group tonight for this to be anything like funny.
