The pitchforks are out, and due to the RS that dominate the media it will be incessant, after the 'Massacre in Madrid'. Carragher has been the first to break ranks and is eating humble pie. He will have to put on a brave face the next time he is on with Neville.

I think there's a good few more of them now willing to see Rodgers through the prism we see him through.

He's quite obviously a chancer reverting to mind-numbing default setting (stripped of the one world class player he had) of again seeking to control the ball along the back four. He's itching to get Allen in there again as the main man who plays just in front of the back four to consolidate that system. We can talk like with Martinez's overdoing of that side of things in patches of games, but Rodgers would like to do that all the time. Trouble is, he could do that at Swansea because the system had been put in place with players he inherited who were comfortable with it and used it as a springboard for some incisive football.

At Anfield he has to buy those players himself and he cant cut it. He just cant spot a player or blend a team. He just cant. He's so limited in his talents...he uses his biggest talent - that of self promotion to cover his limitations. Now the horrified Kopites are finally appreciating it themselves.

Season 2013/14 was the abberation. We know and they know it. This will all end in tears. No question about that.
 
Just to avoid utter dissapointment, im saying Liverpool to win 1-0 Coutinho to score. If Mario can be bothered then it may be the Mario show.
