Reds are Streets ahead! Rodgers taking tips from Coronation Street to bring glory days back at Anfield

‘This is a programme that has been successful for 53 years,’ said Rodgers, whose Liverpool side go to Hull on Sunday, in contention for a Champions League spot for the first time since 2009.

‘I took a bit away in terms of relating it to my own job. To see how something is put together through effort and hard work.
‘You look at the production staff, the cameramen, the actors, actresses and extras. Everything is there to make it work.
‘It’s the team behind the team. We’ll see in May how good our own soap opera is!’

He's an absolute ****ing whopper that man, an absolute ****ing helmet. Comparing his job to Corrie, saying that he's probably right as they're both absolute gash. I would cringe if Martinez came out and said managing Everton is a lot like Emmerdale. My days indeed.
