ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

There's Everton fans on here that live in the States that have Everton plates, it's not something I'd ever have a go at someone for.

To be honest, hammering fans for being "out of towners" doesn't sit easily with me.

*holds hand up*

The thing is, over here, about 1/10000 would even understand what it meant...whether it was mine or in reference to any other club, so it's not like you're doing it to prove you're "der number one fan". That is, I suppose, one of the nice things about being here...if someone does know what it means, it's usually a conversation starter about football and not a target for abuse...even if they're English. My car would've probably been bricked a million times over now by reds if it was in Liverpool.

I just met one of my sons mates at school who is a red - it is the first time I have seen him since the match and I was prepared with my "it was just payback for last year" comments regarding Kev/suarez.

He then came back at me with " I dunno if there are any statistics to prove this but I am certain all keepers play better against liverpoo than any other team"

This guy is ETON educated but thinks it is opposing teams keepers who are to blame for them being crap.

Amazing.

The posh little prick

The RS have a problem with 'the physio was obstructed from helping Suarez'. The physio and the doctor were on the pitch treating Suarez, the third person that appeared on the pitch was Jordan Milsom the 'rehab fitness coach'. Why was he needed to help the physio and the doctor? The doctor nor the physio gestured for him to go on to the pitch, so who instructed him to go on to the pitch?

When he came on he said something to Dowd, 'that's a red that', Dowd looked stunned by what he said and this led to Jags and Barry having a go at Dowd and Barry grabbing Milsom. Milsom does nothing to help Suarez but then engages Dowd in a conversation. Milsom then leaves the pitch and Rodgers says to him 'what's he say'. Rodgers must have been referring to Milsom's conversation with Dowd and not what the doctor or the physio said because Milsom didn't talk to them. The only conversation he had was with Dowd.

It seems like Milsom was told to go on to the pitch, more than likely by Rodgers, and try and influence Dowd's decision and get Mirallas sent off.

I wonder if the incident appeared in the refs match report and what did Dowd say in it? Because if we were obstructing the physio then there is a case for bringing the game into disrepute. Likewise, if a person is sent on the pitch to influence the referee then the manager should be done by the FA for not controlling his staff.

Spot on all that. Rodgers realised Dowd had no intention of showing red after the time had elapsed and sent that ball bag physio on to nudge Dowd in the right direction. Rodgers is a horrible snide. That one was right out of the Neil Warnock handbook for underhand play.

Masters in the art of cheating, always have done always will do.

Is there actually any proof he said that or are we just assuming that's what he might have said?

Taped the game off LFC TV. Milsom leans into Dowd and says 'thats a red that'. Jags is the nearest to Milsom and Dowd, and goes ape sh*t and says, what's he say, who's the ref, [Poor language removed]'. And Barry grabs hold of him.
