The mirralas bashing is a complement. They know their first team was easily outplayed by ours and they were extremely lucky to get a point out of the game. If they are that much better than us (as they like to say) surely it shouldnt matter if we have eleven players on the pitch as their class should show through.

The more that lot talk the better we're doing. Never heard as much hot air from them as I have in the last few years when we've been finishing ahead of them. In the 90s we were often so poor that they weren't even that bothered when we beat them in a derby as it meant nothing. Now they're tryign to gett heir propaganda machines to spin snatched draws into moral victories. Just enjoy it, the more agitated their fans are the more average their team is (which it truly is at the moment). On the evidence of the last two seasons and the last three derbies we'll probably finish ahead of them again (that is unless they once again try and buy their way out of trouble which they've tried and failed to do in almost every transfer window for the last fifteen years.

Rodgers is such a creepy man. He's like something off a billboard for a dodgy lawyer.

The Saul Goodman of the footballing universe.

Better call Bren!

I was thinking something along these lines, like how much of a concerted effort are they making with these incidents, and their only real output's via someone at Mirror Group. Like you said they must be getting fairly desperate.

Don't like our players being vicious or reckless, but hopefully they'll think twice about taking out our players with cynical fouls in order to try to win the game (like Suarez last year). I'm glad the tackle today occurred when we were well ahead.
