There is a great moment in today's Football Weekly podcast (on the Guardian's website here) where the "if that was Luis" point was raised, only for it to be pointed out that he didnt get any on-field sanction for trying to eat Ivanovic, nor did he for racially abusing Evra. They had earlier pointed out that he didnt get sent off for maiming Mirallas last season.
