I'm not Lennon's biggest fan, but I thought he offered more of a threat than either Del or Mirallas have done this season. Mori for Jagielka should be the only change for next Monday when the RS pollute Goodison next week.

Either or mate.

Lennon did well and if he starts the same team I'd be happy.

We talked about Lennon a year or so ago, when he presses or attacks he does it at such pace he un nerves players. It was noticeable that when he went off mirallas does not offer any king of press at all.

Aye, to be honest I'd be looking at shifting Mirallas, Deulofeu and Bolasie asap. Bolasie won't come back the same player, and an even worse version of the current Bolasie is a scary prospect. Maybe we'll be able to recoup 10m on him, but I highly doubt it. 25m tops for the three of them would be around right.

Lennon has another year or two in him as a squad player, and we could use that 25m plus funds from the board to get two quality wingers in, instead of having loads of rank average ones.

We need to have a massive turnover of players in the next two transfer windows imo.

I had to go out at half time, and before resuming the recording a couple of hours later I cheated and checked
to see if Arsenal had scored again.

That was one of the most relaxed and enjoyable halves I've ever watched, and when that header went in... well.

I wasn't a bit nervous in the last minute when the ball was bouncing around in our penalty area.

It's nearly my bedtime, but I'm going to watch the last few minutes again first.

Much better last night, that's what we want from the players, fight, passion getting into the oppositions face, it was a lot better and the fans were fantastic. COYB!!!!

I enjoyed the game but we still give teams too much of a look-in when we are winning.

We need to build on this but you just know we will chuck silly points away in the next game or two.

Nice beginning and closing paragraphs from Henry Winter in today's Times......

Goodison Park is a truly special place when it is like this, shaking with noise and passion for those famous royal blue shirts. Everton are so much more of a force when responding to the hunger and clamour of their supporters, playing with greater commitment, occasionally aggression............

This was what Everton fans wanted, total devotion to the cause, and the roar at the final whistle was an ear-splitting vote of approval. Coleman sprinted to Baines, enveloping him in a huge embrace. This meant so much. This meant only their second win in 11 matches in the Premier League. This meant an end to any doubts about Ronald Koeman; he got his tactics right, 4-3-3, his selections right with the busy Barkley vindicating his recall, and got his substitutions right as the teenaged attacker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, caused Arsenal significant problems late on. It was all particularly well timed with the Merseyside derby next on Monday.
