Other than the shot that led to the goal thought he was his usual poor self, weak pressing and challenges in the lead up to their goal and got caught out constantly in the second half when they were getting in behind on our right at will

….delighted for the lad and his lady after such a traumatic few months, hopefully fans now give the him a bit of leeway.

He’s a decent player and fully justified his selection.

Thought he started poor then got into it a bit better then ran out of steam.

Put a decent shift in and was instrumental in Beto's goal. Looked understandably short of match fitness but was well disciplined, positionally. Did enough to keep his place in the starting line up for the next game.

Did really well doing the job he was brought into do.

Really improved our set pieces - they have been abysmal before today, which I think he was brought into improve.

….and this is the problem with people who have an absolute fixed view, they watch football with blinkers on

McNeil’s part in the Leeds goal was worthy of utmost criticism but it doesn’t discount some decent performances from him, even this season. If certain other players had replicated that touch and control leading up to the 2nd goal then posters on here would be praising how good it was.

He did fine today, I dare say the position is now his to lose so let’s hope he continues.

Yeah. Hopefully this gives him a bit of confidence going forward. He has not really been there mentally this season.
