That'll be a joke, based on them being idiots/Parish blaming emails for not being compliant for Europa and ending up in Conference.

You are right. It was clearly the right time for him to move on and I'm really disappointed for him, and obviously for us, that it hasn't happened.
Ultimately though what makes a club and its fans is how they treat and support people in moments like this. I've got no doubt he'll be shown plenty of support while hes still an Everton player, none of this is his fault.

I think it’s you that has lost the perspective mate. She’s talking about the mental health perspective. Mental health doesn’t happens to many people, of all standings. There’s a section on mental health in this actual forum, I think we shouldn’t dismiss the effects so quickly. She never once mentioned that they were suffering hardships, only the toll that the situation has taken on her partner.Disappointed that Everton missed out on £20m.
From what’s being said, Palace seem to be a fault and haven’t treated Dwight and his family at all well.
For his wife/partner to come out publicly complaining about the ‘hardship’ of it all is all a bit unnecessary. She should try being on the breadline getting treated like crap by your employer whilst on minimum wage.
Dwight still has a job… and is getting paid mega money for it too!
Perspective my dear, perspective.

We don't have the best track record when it comes to deadline day when it comes to transfers ourselves.
Two clubs who have a reputation of being a shambles trying to get something sorted last minute has trouble written all over it
Yup. I said it last year over their Euro multi-club farce: these fellas were asleep at the wheel. Utterly incompetent. A meme ownership now - and that's before adding trying to pay 20m for McNeil to the rap sheet. That'll be a joke, based on them being idiots/Parish blaming emails for not being compliant for Europa and ending up in Conference.
Maybe because teams like us and Palace don't have the financial clout to pay the original asking price for players so we wait to see if we can get a deadline day cut price deal. City make two big money deals early in the window and the RS paying 60 million for a player to leave him where he is until Summer shows the financial disparity in the Prem.At very least it sounds like the communication should have been better
They wanted Larsson a month ago and Mateta wanted to leave a month ago. The fact all this went on to the 2nd February shows they are not a well ran club right now. If this was Everton I'd be saying exactly the same. I've no idea why clubs insist on leaving things to the very last minute because you end up with stuff like this. Why can't top level clubs show a bit of proactivity and organisation
And yes it's big money business. These things happen. But that's even more reason to not let things run to the last few minutes.
This is an interesting point. For a forum that’s done a lot of good connection and initiative for posters’ mental health, would you say we also do similar to the players? Last time I checked they were humans too.I think it’s you that has lost the perspective mate. She’s talking about the mental health perspective. Doubt there was anything malicious,I'd imagine a few heads had fallen off there when they realised that they had been stuck with both Larson and Mateta, and finding out Mateta had a worse knee issue than they had been aware of.At very least it sounds like the communication should have been better
