I can't help but think the US enjoys even creates the N.Korea situation. It gives them reason to be there (in the region) destabilises and divides their nations and, should it kick off, China would be firmly involved. IT's a win win for the yanks.

What do yous actually think about the real news? At 0:20 Abe dumps the whole contents, a few seconds later Trumps follows his lead. Interesting especially in light of what we've been talking about these last few pages, namely the lack of balance when forming opinion about something or someone. The Guardian almost fell for it too, but amended their article and included the video in the re-edit:

Yeah, this is what annoys me about the anti-Trump line in the media, they don't even bother to investigate stories. If there's something that paints Trump in a bad light, they just run it and to hell with the nuance. Gives the Pepe Frog people all they need to ignore the rest of his glaring failings as a human being.

For her to claim that misogyny was a factor in the election is 1) certainly true in a structural sense (Trump obviously made statements that de-persononlize and objectify women), and 2) kinda insulting on a personal level to the 53% of women who voted for Trump--is she implying that these women are women-haters?

Do you know how many countries there are? 195. When Trump won he got a call from all of them, that's what he's anecdoting, that he couldn't take them all and was a little flabbergasted at the sheer amount of calls during that very heady election night, but he took Japan's call because he wants to be close friends with them. That's good, isn't it?

@dandydan has a point with this Trump derangement syndrome blocking reasonable discussion in this thread. Maybe we should have two separate Trump threads: one for discussion, and one for deranged hating.
