Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Possibly because even before he was elected he was the exact same.

Remember more people didn't want him. The logical popular vote had way more people voting the other way. The electoral college decided it. Which is fair under the current system.

Normally when a president winds they try work with the other side or at the very least keep it civil. This guy decided not too.

So when you have 60 something million people or whatever it is being called snowflakes and being attacked by a man who is supposed to unite the country not divide it more its bound to stir up emotion.

He has insulted everyone who has disagreed with him called them names attacked their very being. Before he was elected he said some hateful stuff and has continued on with that.

It's not hard to see why people would hate him form the very first minute.

Remember the right gave Obama the same treatment if not worse, no matter what he did. At least Obama was dignified and acted like a proper human being.

I agree with everything until your last paragraph. Obama suffered nothing like what the left have given Trump, and worldwide too......

My point being that if you believe that the war was about slavery and the black population, why did very little change in the following 100 years......100 years is a very long time to enact beliefs...
Because the civil war, vicious and destructive as it was, did not change everyone's views on racial equality.

Apparently including our President who has just said that there were very fine people in the midst of that crowd of people shouting "Jew will not replace us" and carrying the swastika.

Trump brings it on himself. Worldwide that is and well to people who have common sense to see what a buffoon he is. The whole twitter thing really makes him look weak that and his speeches are awful.

It goes back to being presidential he just cant be.

As for Obama well i guess you would have had to live here to see what local media or well the right media would say. Like i said spend day after day with people who were not his fan.

I have tons of right leaning friends and my other half's family who hate Obama.

If you know anything about the US you will learn that talking politics nowadays has become divisive even more so since Trump got elected.

Someone mentioned it already. There were quarters of this county not ready for Obama and it started from there on their side. So when Trump took office a lot of these guys thought it was finally their call to arms.

But don't be mistaken into thinking Obama was super popular among Americans. His approval rating was higher than Trumps granted but it still tethered on being blue vs red

I'll just leave this here...this is the #1 radio talk show in the country. I can see why folks get brainwashed listening to this day in and day out.

RUSH LIMBAUGH (HOST): I think the mayor of Charlottesville took a page out of the book from the mayor from Baltimore. What was her name? Forget her name. Remember she said -- what was her phrase? "Give them space. Give them room so that they can get it out of their system. Give them space." Look, the police were ordered to stand down in Charlottesville. Somebody wanted that to happen, folks. The police were told to stand down, the police are saying, "no, no, no, we were retreating to go get our riot gear." Well, why didn't you show up in riot gear? If you retreated to get the riot gear, why didn't you come back with the riot gear on if that's where you went? They were ordered to stand down.

I'll tell you something else, people -- I think all of this is organized, folks. I think Terry McAuliffe, in fact, was trying to use this whole episode to launch his presidential bid, and he botched it because he doesn't have that big ability to get noticed. This is a pretty big deal, this is what Democrats do. This is what Clinton, the Oklahoma City bombing, launched the rebirth of his presidency, which is exactly -- the Democrats see a crisis and find out how they can benefit from it, while making people think they're trying to fix it or solve it, and I think McAuliffe was doing the same thing. I think -- remember Rahm Emanuel, "a crisis is a terrible thing to waste." I think, not so much there are people that wanted this to happen, but knew it was going to, and so let's see if we can milk it. And in order to milk it, it had to happen, and in order for it to happen, the police have to stay out of it. As the NYPD said, "wouldn't have happened here, we wouldn't have let these two groups get within eyesight of each other. And we certainly wouldn't have let some renegade car enter this whole scene." Somebody wanted it to happen, or somebody knew it was going to happen and didn't want it to stop because they wanted to try to capitalize on it.

WTF is wrong this guy. There is more than enough video evidence to suggest that simply isn't true. Now he really is making a show of himself and actually helping us prove to @peteblue why the majority hates hime haha!!

He is speaking the truth though, both sides were violent, but for differing reasons. Why is left wing violence excused and right wing violence demonised. Anyone using violence is no better than anyone else using violence. To ever excuse violence in a public environment is to undermine democracy, free speech and civility.....

OK, I'll be very careful here. When the southern states lost the right to keep slaves, it was a huge economic blow. Slave owners would now have to pay their labour. After the civil war there were a series of laws passed by southern states in order to keep the black population subservient, this continues to the modern day with ridiculously harsh laws designed to imprison large sections of the black community in order for the prison system to turn a profit and offer a ready supply of cheap black labour.
Basically, although they lost the war, most of the southern states have found ways to control the black community. This is one of the reasons Black Lives Matter is a thing.

Shocking , genuinely shocking .

I cannot believe a single member of White House staff , that isn't bannon or miller , could have approved that message. The first statement was so weak and lily-livered it drew scorn from many of his traditional allies with even some of Fox putting the boot in , so that was bad enough but to follow up with this is just madness and so incredibly disrespectful.

A president is supposed to be Presidential so for him to do this with a disregard for his own electorate is staggering. I do wonder if he's done this because of the backlash and his determination to be bloody minded.

Truth about violence is one thing saying there were non racists on the other side is another. Good people do not use racist rhetoric whether the constitution allows one to or not. Now don't pretend the racists didn't poke the bear though. It's all about context.

Just watch one of the many news clips or documentaries from the events of what those guys admit to wanting to achieve out there. None of it was peaceful words. I recommend the vice news one someone posted on the other thread
