absolutely, but that’s their (and the states) business - this feeding frenzy over it is shameful.
Trump was far from a fantastic leader and his rhetoric caused division, hatred and harm... but there's a sizeable different the likes of him and Hitler, Stalin et al.
The tension between the couple themselves I think was/is fair to cover, especially as both are not above exploiting their media exposure themselves.

What we had over the last 4 years was a more extreme more senile version of a man who has always acted the way he did.

But what about about if you compare Trump's administration to Hitler's first few years in politics?
First few years as in his Putsch in '23, his growth from '29 or as Chancellor? Anyway, whatever the answer isn't the point when you consider what Lee said.
There's no reference to a time frame or context apart from 'the wrong side of history', so you'd surmise he's making a general comparison in terms of...
... their significance. So for me, it's understandable what he may be implying that doesn't mean it isn't hyperbole or at least misguided.
That's not downplaying Trump's xenophobia nor how he may have acted if left unshackled - his potential - but Hitler is on a completely different level.
Anyway, my point is really that we have to be careful to not make easy comparisons, which may downplay how dastardly, wicked and evil Adolf and Josef were.
