The bit where he pulls her about the “more votes than voters” lie and she utterly crumbles is glorious.
Someone posted a tweet with a similar thread (about someone saying Obama was born in Kenya). They know what they are saying is a load of bollocks, but it allows them to espouse their racist/fascist views without being exposed or labelled as racist/fascist.

I’m not sure what the remedy for this could be. We’ve obviously never had an issue like this, so I’d never considered it, but the video that someone posted on here yesterday where the Sri Lankan guy described that waiting period as a “built in coup” is spot on if all participants aren’t committed to a peaceful transition of power. However, you also hear people who have worked on these transitions talk about how even 70ish days is precious little time to set up a whole new government. That’s why there was so much gnashing of teeth when that woman wouldn’t recognize Biden as President-elect and cost his team close to two badly needed weeks to get things going.

Another problem is that McConnell hasn't even started reviewing Biden's cabinet appointments in the Senate.
Usually all the leg work even interviews are done before Jan 20 of the major cabinet positions so they can be certified by the Senate as soon as Biden is president. Now he will be without his own Sec of Defense, State, Homeland security, etc for days.

Between this and everything Trump has done since the election, GOP is obviously trying to make things even harder on a Biden admin.
If Biden avoids major chaos in the first few months, let alone achieves some of his first 100 days goals, it will be a huge testament to him and his staff.

Think it is very helpful he has the experience as VP and that Obama had Biden as involved as he was. Can you imagine a complete newbie walking into this?

The good news is:

1) McConnell will no longer be in charge of the Senate and Dems have the votes to confirm
2) Many of the Cabinet picks have been confirmed by the Senate previously for positions they held in the Obama Administration
