Trump never gets into a position where his back is to the wall.

However what he does do is gets his supporters to a point where they feel like theirs is, especially the rich ones - which is probably why he has allowed them to trash environmental standards, misbehave legally and now loot that Congress-approved cash, because he knows that if they think Biden / a Dem Congress will come after them then they'll back him absolutely. He has done the same thing with the GOP, who now believe that their survival depends on his so there is nothing they will not do for him.
 
He spelled hamburger hamberger in a tweet just there. Then deleted it.

Not really. Trump can come out with the absurd / idiotic / probably criminal and he knows he will get away with it; his supporters will give him a pass because of the ludicrous positions they've taken so far and his "enemies" will play the game according to rules he gleefully ignores.

It is, to use an Americanism, Scams 101.
 
Ay ay ay I go on a multi paragraph on how trumps usual strategy won’t work in this new paradigm and will hurt his chances for re-election. But people can’t get over one line that if you look at it a certain way it sounds like a complement and you mustn’t dare complement Trump in this Tory Democrat echoe chamber.

I wasn’t complementing him it’s insane the man has won the highest office. It’s crazy the Democratics got owned by him and the more they go at him about his IQ and his glaring personality disorders. It’s is just a reflection on them.

He is absolutely ridiculous. Horrible man. He won the most powerful job in the world in the face of doubt and laughter. People didn’t give him a chance most notably democrats. They met him with ridicule.

He won. That will never change. Even if he’s out November he already won. Him getting 4 years is a remarkable unimaginable achievement. Insane. A disgrace of a human.

Not sure that's correct. The President is the commander in chief of all of the US armed forces, they can refuse to follow an illegal order but not a stupid one. They can, of course argue against it but refusal to obey would be court martial.

Not just illegal. It covers immoral and unethical.

Pretty sure putting troops in harms way for a vanity project could be argued to both of the later.

Its dangerous to call troops back especially given the situation the country is in and given west points location I would say its a good case point. It was mentioned last year that if by committee the military can refuse.

Sure some or all in charge may have to resign but It would set a precedent the administration would not want, for obvious reasons.

There would be no spinning it positively. Esepcially in an election year
