Did I get this right ?

Despite having the highest recorded death rate, as from today, the USA just completely relaxed the self distancing rules
We havent in Louisiana. I think they have a state or two attempting to "re-open" but majority are still on stay at home/essensial workers only. I think they had a guideline from the CDC or one of those companies that stated you are able to do alot more outside activities with little to no risk such as boating, running, eating etc. This could be what you are reading on but im not sure. An article?

Didnt have 50 extra pages when i signed on. Must have been a slow weekend. any news real news?

The US passed 60k deaths, the US president said they were doing great and it was about to disappear, he mused on the benefits of injecting bleach, misspelt the word "Nobel" and tried to claim he meant it afterwards. That's about the gist of it

Steve, I think you know that you and I agree more often than we disagree but ugh... the way the US in general refers to people who risk huge amounts (of either money, safety or liberty) to get to a place where they believe they can build a better life for them and their families is just.... gross.
I don't agree with the term illegal. I too think its unnecessary and agree with your reply..

He did ask though why and I was recollecting the actual terms used by authorities.

It would be unfair if I didn't explain it as they see it here and leave that word out.

That net positive is just ASTOUNDING
The headline number is but I am sure these details has been noticed
Perhaps most troubling for Trump's reelection hopes, his approval ratings are also low in the swing states that sent him to the White House in 2016.

Just 36 percent of Michiganders said they approve of Trump's response, compared with 63 percent who said the same of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D). In Pennsylvania, 40 percent approve of Trump's response, compared with 62 percent who approve of Gov. Tom Wolf's (D) response. And in Wisconsin, only 39 percent like Trump's response, compared to 58 percent who approve of the job Gov. Tony Evers (D) has done.

Trump's approval rating on the pandemic response is under 50 percent in other critical states like Florida (47 percent), Georgia (47 percent), Iowa (46 percent), Minnesota (42 percent), North Carolina (47 percent), Texas (44 percent) and Virginia (44 percent).
