TL;DR for most, but essential. Explains the link between these two pictures. In a hurry? Just go to point #12. #12? Yes, #12. Well, actually, maybe #11.

This is more a general comment than aimed specifically at you mate, but the only way anyone would think “the last thing Trump would do would be to start turning on one of his most trusted lieutenants” is if they haven’t been paying attention for the last 39 months.

And Dr. Fauci is not an trusted lieutenant. He has been in his current position for decades. He would be the epitome of what Trump would consider "deep state"

This is the problem. Yeah, she did more than most have, but she still backed down at the end.

The serious journalists in that room need to relentlessly hold his feet to the fire.

It stresses me out that 3 years in there’s still no “agreement” between the reporters that if he doesn’t answer a tough question and moves on to another reporter (like he does in that clip) the next one asks the same question.

I understand WHY they don’t, but it’s still inexcusable at this point.

I’d pay a significant portion of my net worth to see him interviewed face to face by the likes of Andrew Neil, Jeremy Paxman or even Jake Tapper. (I’m sure there’s other good examples, but you get the idea).

Cuomo would eat him for Brekkie.

Can’t remotely agree with that, sorry. There’s a reason Boris wouldn’t agree to be interviewed by him.

It wasn’t because Neil is a savage and fearless interviewer. People might have wondered about a former editor of the Spectator being interviewed by the current chairman.

It was because he'd seen Neil make mincemeat of Corbyn and Sturgeon and Boris shat his pants, go watch the last time Neil interviewed Boris, it's not pretty.

Neil is the most feared political interviewer on the circuit in the UK.

Not a great fan of him tbh, but watching him clobber Ben Shapiro into paste on live TV was one of the best things I've ever seen. Shapiro's meltdown was so quick and brutal, he basically did a real life leaving thread to get away from it

Sadly you are right - I wonder if one of the pack had a word with her?

Neil would be as bad as Morgan is with him. Paxman would be good, Jon Stewart would be fantastic, at least if he did that Crossfire performance as well.
Eddie Mair interviewing Trump would be the greatest show on earth. Doubt trump would last 2 minutes before walking out.

I agree. He's been around the block so often he can spot crap a mile off. Politicians know this, especially Boris, the arch-waffler.

its hard enough for me to get my head around what post modernism is and why it came to be without pasting trump over the template.
i would assume Duchamp studied the masters and was technically proficient. His intelligence and curiosity pushed him in to new controversial areas. To compare this to trumps brash opportunism seems lazy. And to conclude point 12/ stating that the people like it seems to counter his whole argument.
The author might have had a better shot with pop art, christ, it’s even there in the name.

Some folks need massive word salads to justify why they support the orange ghoul in office.

Andrew Neil is an equal opportunity enemy of waffle and spin, he can spot and pin down anybody not on top of their brief in seconds. It's a source of confusion to me that politicians don't simply put as much effort into researching their area of responsibility as he does instead of ducking him.
