What conclusions?

Find me the peer reviewed paper concluding "97% of the scientific community agree observational evidence of dangerous man made climate change exists" .

If you can (and you most certainly will not be able to) then supply me with the total number of scientists that exist in this "scientific community" as I've never seen a figure definitively listing how many scientists are on the planet. After that chuck in the non modelled peer reviewed evidence they are referring to.

The fact that you are asking me to provide peer reviewed evidence of a survey tells me all I need to know about your expertise in the field of science.

As someone who loves old cars My excuse always goes down the life cycle analysis route. Although my car may pollute more per mile, no one has had to melt any steel to make me a new one for 55 years.

I still fully accept the science (having an education in scientific method) and try to make my contribution via recycling, litter picking, buying low energy consumption electrical goods etc. I’m afraid I have no time for folks who want us to go back to hair shirts and wattle and daub.

Technological solutions will be found if neo-liberal capitalism will allow early enough adoption. Unfortunately our political leaders are either educated in Greek mythology or in the pockets of fossil fuel companies.

Well for starters I wouldn't have at any stage had advisors who've been spoiling for war with Iran for years/decades.

I wouldn't have pulled out of a deal with Iran that was WORKING in its stated aims

And then I'd probably have done my best not to escalate things from a militia rocket strike, to airstrikes, to further airstrikes in response to the embassy attack (in which no one was killed, and it wasn't even deemed necessary to evacuate the embassy).

Make a response, sure, but to think THIS response wouldn't massively escalate things is naive.

What sort of response ?, economically Trump already has them by the nuts so can not do much else, meanwhile his Embassy burns. What sort of response would Tehran take any notice of ?......
