There's already enough carbon in the atmosphere that another 50 - 75 years of warming is baked in, even if we went to net zero emissions today. If you keep pumping carbon into the atmosphere, then impact of that gets exponentially worse, and may trigger other unexpected consequences, such as large releases of methane from thawing permafrost. It doesn't mean the world ends in 2030, it just means you've condemned the next few generations to an increasingly hostile planet.

Quite simple really I debate using logic, reason and facts occasionally slipping in a bit of humour and when a matter of conjecture and opinion stand by the phrase "agree to disagree". No swearing or ripping in nor calling people "mutant", "tosser", "kopite etc even though it appears acceptable from certain posters and completely at odds with the site claim that " GrandOldTeam prides itself on offering Everton fans a place for intelligent and respectful debate about the issues that matter to them."
I genuinely thanked you for intervening when someone brought up the "nazi" theme as they got a tad emotional and your reply was of the - "stop patronising or you're down the road" variety.
