The nicest thing you can say about him is that whilst these statements were outstandingly racist, he may himself not be racist because there is plenty of evidence that he has a similar lack of respect for all humans rather than singling one race out as better than the rest.
you could say that but if you show a lack of respect to a group of humans because of the color of their skin, you're a racist.
Seth Moulton is another congressman from MA who has been far harder on Trump/his administration/the state of America today than Presley but he's a white male veteran.
You can just add racism to the list of misogynist, xenophobe and all round bellend.

Reckon the bad style is purpose, to stand out,, it's the message that resonates is the aim after all. Also the sneering of poor structure plays very much to his gallery...
It’s not even just structure. The scripted speeches are just so... boring.

How anyone (even those who are on board with the content) can enjoy them or be inspired by them is beyond me.

Looking like an untalented hack to own them libs, I guess

Just this lunch time I had someone say "It's appalling but is it racism". Telling a person of color to go back to where they came from is blatant racism, throw in his track record and it's hard to fathom why people are refusing to call this racism.
The Trump sycophants (whether in Congress, in the media, or even on here) are basically doing their best to pass off anything short of Trump dropping an N-bomb on live tv as “regrettable, but is it really racist? I’m not so sure”

It’s an absolute joke. History will not be kind to these cretins.

Trump's new idiotic targeting of certain Congresspeople being anti-Israel/anti-Semitic should be remembered in the context of his quote about "very fine people on both sides" in which the Friday evening prior to the murder of Heather Heyer, neo-Nazis/White-Nationalists/Klansmen were heard yelling "Jews will not replace us!" <--this actually happened in 2018 in the USA, not 1918, not 1818.

The level of hypocrisy is dizzying by the integrity-less dimwits on the right who support this racist.

This idea of being against a policy of a government as an equivalent to being anti-the-people/religion of a country with said policy is such nonsense and very harmful. It makes discourse impossible.

It is quite possible to be against a policy of Israel without being anti-Semitic.

Except they have a history of dodgy views, here Omar mocks America for fearing Al Queda. She seems to think they're a great bunch of lads with a few bad apples

Though her quote has been framed that way, please note that the context of her comment suggests she was saying that not American Jews, but American evangelicals were more loyal to Israel than to the USA. And that's a point that can be argued. Over the past year the state of Texas passed a law prohibiting any state contracts going to a person or firm involved in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement; this means residents of Texas have more constraints on criticizing Israel than they do on criticizing the USA.

Just as Trump's tweet has been framed to fit a narrative of racism when it makes zero reference to anyone's colour, at absolute worst it's xenophobic. Telling someone to leave the country because all they do is bitch about it is not racism

Oh ffs did you even watch the video?

She not mocking anyone other than the lecturer. The fact there is no leading question or context because the video starts in a weird place.

How would we know seen as the video has been trimmed and edited video.

Now nothing if you assume it leads to impeachment or whatever. It's just something they can use at the next election to show how they were against Trump
Do you even know how politics works? That's the point of the opposition to be against the other guy. In Trump's case for good reason
