Though her quote has been framed that way, please note that the context of her comment suggests she was saying that not American Jews, but American evangelicals were more loyal to Israel than to the USA. And that's a point that can be argued. Over the past year the state of Texas passed a law prohibiting any state contracts going to a person or firm involved in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement; this means residents of Texas have more constraints on criticizing Israel than they do on criticizing the USA.

He is actually the worst sort. Because he genuinely (imo) doesnt think he is. He thinks things like calling that women Pochehontis, and then telling these democrats to go home, isnt racist, because he has a Black friend.

In the 1970s, in the UK, we were an incredibly racist country. Not because we all joined far right groups, or had apartheid type policies in law, but because the sort of language and labelling that Trump is getting close to, was endemic in things as diverse as sit coms, stand up comedy, and prime time television.

There's no doubt Stephen Miller, gorka and some of these other racist nuts have his ear but for him to repeat their rhetoric out loud makes him worse.

If we are to believe he is the master troll like some keep saying, he has picked an odd route to take. Trolling using racism simply isn't clever. Its dumb and it has never worked for anyone.

I believe he is racist. There is enough evidence over the years from him and his father doing and saying racist things.

Now he has an audience he feels he can come out and say anything especially when the party he now runs are spineless and say nothing.

I don't believe Trump is racist, however, he is far worse on a number of points in my opinion.

It goes against his economic principles to be racist as people are just commodities to enrich him, their identity is just indifference of no consequence.

Trump plays with opinion and ideology for his own gain, he has no conviction or belief apart from his own legacy. He will foolishly engage with dog whistle politics because he needs to politicly engage with those Americans who are racists, who have correctly been increasingly disinfranchised from American politics from the 50s.

However, the trouble with any racist wherever they come from they are snarling full of loathing and will happily bite the hand that feeds them, they always do. Trump letting them in on democracy will come at price, as they will want their say and more, as always. Which I suspect is what is happening!

When you're being investigated for renting to white people and not black people and you say "well you wouldn't want to live with them either". That's ingrained racism that he's well aware of.

Oh I don’t mean the content specifically. The content is generally reprehensible, obviously. But I didn’t agree with the content of most of GWB’s speeches either, but they were still well written and structured... and Obama’s - well, little needs to be said at this point.

The writing itself in trump’s speeches (when he’s not veering off script) is so so bad.

Reckon the bad style is purpose, to stand out,, it's the message that resonates is the aim after all. Also the sneering of poor structure plays very much to his gallery...

maybe, I reckon it's upbringing, Fred was a racist (arrested at a KKK march). Donald was raised to know that a building was more valuable if it was full of white people, not black people. So his whole family and economic upbringing was through a racist lens.

Just this lunch time I had someone say "It's appalling but is it racism". Telling a person of color to go back to where they came from is blatant racism, throw in his track record and it's hard to fathom why people are refusing to call this racism.

The nicest thing you can say about him is that whilst these statements were outstandingly racist, he may himself not be racist because there is plenty of evidence that he has a similar lack of respect for all humans rather than singling one race out as better than the rest.
