I think what we need to do here, to ensure justice is served, is bombard the school with threatening emails, create a vicious online witchhunt and publish the boy's name and all of his family details online, contact sponsors of the school to let them know they support racist white boys who taunt minorities, and we should also probably ensure the media plaster his face on their front pages so that the whole world is aware of the disgusting crimes he's committed. If they get anything wrong, no problem, the media makes mistakes sometimes, right?

Vile. And also vile the people defending the media or those involved with the character assasination of the boy / his group / his school, etc. There is no defending any of that.

It is a disgrace. If I were the boys parent, I would be suing the hell out of anyone involved in generating any hate or harm suggesting tweets or other communication....

Like you I’d be furious at the reaction , I’d also though be furious at those from the school who allowed such a situation to develop and did an appalling job of chaperoning the children .

personally I’m not sure I’d be delighted with Some of the behaviour I saw from the youngsters either , I’m not justifying the response by any means or lumping them all together but in all the various footage there are a couple i’d Be having a fairly strong word with.

It’s hard for a group of that many kids to be perfect, but I agree. The chaperones definitely shouldn’t have allowed them to indulge the Israelites.

In fairness, if you were a parent who would 1) send your kid to a school that sees that as an acceptable choice of school trip, 2) consent to your child GOING on the trip and 3) provide an upbringing that led to the kids’ choices (both sartorial and behavioural) there... you probably wouldn’t be having any strong words with any of them.

It's exactly my faith in the ignorance of a large part of the electorate that I form that opinion. They have memories like goldfish. 0 chance that anytime thinks back to a time and THIS is their deciding factor. If it is they never were unbiased to begin with and the "this is what is going to bring voters out for Trump" is a baseless claim.

The left literally had two giant mistakes in succession. Not saying I respect buzzfeed as a proper leftist source, but they are feeding into the fake news narrative. They have to avoid baseless slam pieces and do some actual reporting.

It’s worth making the point that Buzzfeed are pretty solidly standing behind their reporting, and that the two reporters involved have a history of breaking news (and having solid sources) regarding the Trump/Russia story
