You forgot to add in a score when you responded to Groucho, as when you typed "3-0" below. Nothing speaks to a petty childishness more than adding in a score to one's post.

You also forgot to take some petty stab at the presumed ages of the posters, as you did here:

And here:

So really, petty schoolyard bickering is pretty much all you've done so far. Do you have anything substantive to say, apart from reminding us that you are older and thus have "experience" in the "real world"?
Thought I was one of the younger ones on here? Yeah those are retaliation posts, you haven’t hi lighted some of the messages I’ve received I see!! Look the Mod said less of the bickering so fair enough I’ve took heed of that, so why are you trying to restart something? Yes I’ve lots of substantial things to add, but it seems I’m one of the few on here who can see some of Trumps policies that can be beneficial for their great country and the rest of the world.

Which of Trump's policies do you think are beneficial for the USA?

Okay cool, The most obvious one to me without writing a thesis on it as I’m typing this on a iPhone with a plaster on thumb(more difficult than you think) is the fact he has the balls to get stuck into Trade tarrifs, USA is such an important country for the rest of world to sell to, he wants to readdress the balance of an awful one sided trade deficit thus helping certain American companies and helping employment of its citizens. Long term strategy opening up derelict factories, plants, yards etc. And getting re employment of highly skilled Americans hopefully having a big knock in effect helping some down trodden communities that have been left to waste and rot away..

You outline the best of best-case scenarios regarding what could happen. I don't think it is that simple, and I certainly don't think what you outline will remotely happen. Tariffs can, in principle, create more domestic demand, but usually they just mean that prices will be raised for US consumers and/or US manufacturers will be forced to cut jobs (which has already happened). And the Trump's own party is against these tariffs. I don't see a connection between a trade war and how this will somehow open long-forgotten old US factories.

You don’t say you disagree or agree with this policy. Would you prefer status Quo? Do you think USA are getting the shitty end of the stick when it comes to overseas trading?

Steel industry is one I’m thinking about in that aspect of reopening derelict factories maybe Detroit and it’s car producing industries. These 2 are an example of destroying communities when they were closed down?

I disagree with this policy. Though I don't claim expertise in Economics, so I can only go by what I've read. And what I've read suggests a trade-war will not end well for the USA. And it won't provided the stimulus Trump thinks it will. Of course free trade has its consequences, as some countries will lose jobs and others will gain them. But Trump is not providing a solution.

Steel, Auto, and coal industries will never be the same as they once were. It is folly to think so. Automation has replaced that labor force.

It's like thinking cotton picking jobs will return.

I believe we get most of our steel from the EU and Canada, so a trade war and tariffs on steel from China won't help here.

So you want a status quo?
Your Happy with a massive trade deficit?
Your happy with outsourcing employment?
He’s trying to do something to reignite dying communities isn’t he and get people back in work?

How about inject that wall money into education programs that will train those downtrodden communities to do something that is relevant?

Don’t believe that. Ford Nissan Bmw plants in Uk generate massive employment
