I praised him on Korea. However he's an absolute idiot when it comes to this with Iran. Incredibly foolish and in one fell swoop worse foreign policy than anything the lacklustre Obama ever did in the same field.

A lot of people who are very grudgingly praising him on Korea were certain he'd lead us into nuclear war on the peninsula months ago. You might be right, Trump's Iran play could be a total disaster. But I have no reason to accept your premise here.

I can ignore all of this because we didn't. It was a deal agreed-to by Obama. It wasn't a treaty. Trump is fully within his rights to exit.

"America cannot be trusted," yet it makes total sense to stay in a crappy deal with a country that chants "death to America" and promises to start spinning more centrifuges in the days after the deal collapses (that is to say, we were only ever weeks away from that result under the deal).

I'll be blunt, I do not believe any of you particularly care about Iranian detainees or Iranian nuclear weapons. I think you care about damaging Trump and "winning." The same as you often accuse the GOP/Trumpkins of doing.

Honestly i called you adversus yesterday and even though i know you are a real person and not some multi i will stick by it. Your are in the same vein as them. You say in that other SEC rant forum that you make it your way to take shots at lefty's and to get under their skin whenever possible.

The more you post the more you sound like him/them.

Typical traits of those guys are

- Presuming all left leaning people are the same.
- We all hate Trump just because.
- We care only for deals because our hero Obama signed them and so cannot be objective.
- Everything you say is fact everything we say is just the left moaning and throwing shade at conservatives.

I can go find tons and tons of posts of you making blanket statements about Trump, Trump supporters, etc. You're a passionate supporter of your ideology. Are we really going to sit here and pretend all of our arguments are free from motivations relating to our partisan/ideological affiliations? That some of what we're doing isn't "trying to win"?

It's a good example of how polarizing politics puts people into groups they don't necessarily want to be on.

Steve, the huge majority of your posts and likes are anti-Trump. Whether you're a Democrat or not, you seem to be well-aligned with the community that opposes the President. I find, often, your complaints about Trump are pretty reaching. That's my subjective belief. It also leads me to believe that you will often adopt pretty weak arguments more because they're anti-Trump than because they're good arguments. It's not exactly an uncommon thing on any side (or no side, in your case).

You can disagree, and I can live with your disagreement. But if you're asking me to accept that you're an objective observer, sorry, I'm not buying into it. But again, it's fine, why do you care?

As for the nukes and detainees, I'm sure you care about them. I was probably speaking too casually in how I framed that, so I apologize if that was insulting. To be more clear, it's my belief that you're driven, in this discussion, not by the threat of nukes or detainee issues, but by opposing an action of the President.

It is a section for like minded people, as in people interested in current affairs. It was created because we were wrecking everyones heads in the ale house.
But it's not a competition or even a debate, more of a conversation. A lot of people come here for news as there's a few posters who are on top of the latest news, it's a good aggregator. Feel free to post conservative news.
But you don't need to be on a crusade.
That's just my opinion tho.

The thing is despite the evidence to the contrary his supporters will lap it up, repeat it and believe it 100%. Then probably accuse democrats of being evil masterminds of making stuff up but remember we are still weak. This will be followed by calling the Clinton's or Obama names or perhaps blaming them for Cohen.

Its like he has a set of procedures for stuff of this nature.

The GOP are easy to infiltrate if you are one of these nuts or extreme guys becuase of Trump and his cronies pushing the fake media and hate the left campaign.

Sure we have a couple of conservatives on here who admit they dislike Trump but don't see any issues in their party yet tell us how bad lefties are everyday. Not that i think they are extreme but i do think ignorance is bliss for them. I think its like that across the board do anything to beat those awful dems and then put head back in sand once the awful stuff surfaces about their own candidates

With respect, "the system is obviously broken if anyone can continue to stand by this President" is far more debate-ish that conversational, IMO. I think you guys are being a bit unrealistic here.
