Yeah what a tool. The city has got rid of its crime riddled streets and is defo one of the safest and one of the most integrated. Not sure people flooding over the border is a thing here anymore.
What an awful and vain attempt to make it look bad here especially making it seem its Mexicans causing the crime to get higher. His GOP compatriots with the exception of that weasel Darrel Issa don't even focus on the wall as being an issue here for the most part. Only when he comes to town i guess haha!!
I bet he doesn't know that the biggest crime downtown is caused by drunk people and unfortunately homeless veterans. Maybe he should tackle those social issues with the billions.
As for crime in the county its the usual stuff. Even the gangs are being pushed north because of regeneration and the cost to live here haha!!
What was once a GOP/conservative stronghold in Southern California is gradually shifting.
Thing in one of the places i consulted many of the Mexican workers who were legal here moved back to Mexico to live just across the border in Tijuana and they car pool every day over the border to work.
It was odd that it was San Diego picked to showcase the wall anyway. Why not choose Arizona or New Mexico who cry foul a lot more about illegal immigrants.
