If I was the club I’d be looking at a 2 year deal with an option for a third (which we can trigger or gets automatically triggered if he meets a goals target or something). Wages, of max £70/75k with goal bonuses to bump it up. Tell him take it or leave it.
Then if he struggles next season, we can look to move him on. As at this point, any fee is profit.
Club needs to move away from wages over 100k for any players that aren’t at the very top level (currently only Pickford meets that in my view).
