I reckon hes a very talented player.
He is also the polar opposite to the type of striker we need though. We already have a big unit who will get you a handful of goals each season.

I think Lukaku is unrealistic for the simple reason that none of the top clubs want to loan us their best players because we're too much of a threat to their league positions as it is. He might still go out on loan.
Their has been plenty of times when a decent player from the top 4 has been available on loan and we've never been in with a sniff. Always ended up at bolton, portsmouth etc.
I think it would really help Anichebe if a new striker or 2 comes in. I think he plays best when he's has some of the burden taking of him and a bit of the pressure like when he was scoring of the bench or when he was rotated earlier in this season and last year. Could be the making of him and allow him to really kick on from his strong past 18 months of establishing himself

I think Lukaku is realistic only if Cheslki sign a top striker in the summer as it would mean he would not be getting realistically any game time and providing we offer say £12 mil or so for him I think they would accept it as lets face it lads, they would know if in 3-5 years down the line he becomes world class they could buy him back of us with Romans roubles

I think we need a striker, wether that be a loan signing like Lukaku or get him in a swap for Felli or we sign someone like Cornelius, Finnbogason, Wilfried Bony or Negredo?!.
But i think if Felli does leave this summer, we need to replace him with a Coutinho type player IMO. We need someone who can create centrally and pick out and play the kind of through balls that he does that strikers with good movement and like to play on the shoulder thrive on!.
I do feel we are too reliant on our wide play and more often than not do try at every opportunity to work the ball wide, mainly down the left, to create our chances but it would be nice to have some creativity in central areas.
Playing Felli up there behind a striker can work and he does well but he basically plays like a target man up there and when we go long, he brings the ball down and brings the midfield into play or he lays it out wide, which isnt a bad thing, but he's not a player to control the ball, turn on it and look to feed the striker.
This summer we do need a striker to add to ranks but i think some creativity in the centre of midfield, especially in the role behind the front man, we do need a clever, creative type player but i think we can only do all those things, buy a striker and a midfielder, if we sell Felli.
