I found out recently that one of my buddies is a distant cousin of count strac. apparently there was a small town in Italy and everyone there had the last name stracqualursi. half of them moved to northeastern Usa and the other half moved to Argentina. small world eh?

I bet your mate is one ugly mofo.

I think he should play upfront with Jelavic.

I think some people have forgotten what he is like - maybe not away - but at home he has only had good performances when he starts. Now imagine him upfront doing all the work, winning the ball, tiring out the defence, with Jelavic to pass the ball to to strike towards goal!

Sounds good Dom... But he may be able to work his ass off but he can't pass or create!

Straq and jelavic is a awful combo. Hooooooofff!!!

1 up top with a creative spark off the front man it's the way forward!
Pienaar - osman- Barkley

He's quite good getting the ball in the air and passing it to team mates, but I'd imagine he and Jela would battle the same aerial duels and make each other less useful. Cahill & Jela seems to be ok at the moment. I'd like to see Osman instead of Cahill in there, but I hope he'll play in CM and can put the ball through from there. AnywaYz get Junior on.

Can't agree with the Osman Cahill bit. Osman was anonymous against Sunderland. Not totally his fault, he must be short of fitness and needs to be eased back in via the bench. Cahill scored and overall did well. He niggled away, won a lot of balls in the air at both ends of the pitch and looked much more like his old self. If Moyes didn't drop him when he was utterly pants, he won't do it now and nor should he.

This is a Moyes team, no matter who we play you will still have Neville and the other CB's hoofing it.

Plus i think you are being harsh on straq, because the past few games he hasnt just ran about - he has beaten some players and passed the ball well

Great stuff! He completely earned it! Shame he isn't getting much time this month though.

What happens with every striker...they are good but then we buy another one and the only chance they get is in the last 5 minutes of a game - unless there is an injury...

Its happened with everyone of our strikers - just in this case its much faster

Now obviously I realise it may be rubbish.

But Wikipedia says he's played 16 games and scored 17 goals for San Lorenzo!!

Is that right?!
