That graphic worried me.
It is like he is persisting with a method of defending corner kicks despite it costing his team many goals since he arrived in England.
Such entrenched dogma does not bode well for the future.
I wonder what their instructions are.
Are they told to assume a position in their “zone” and ot budge from it?
That would be madness IMO but that is how it looks to me.
As others have said, I don’t see how it is any better than man marking.

It really was.
Billing was left completely unmarked in the centre of the goal, about 7 yards out, he’s about 6’ 3” and obviously decent in the air and there was no one within 2 yards of him.
It is usually flicked on by one of the goalscorer’s teammates though

it will be the end of him , if he continues to use it without getting it right , the prem is a harsh environment to stick to something that the other teams can exploit.
Mina might improve the system when he gets fit, then again there were three of there players lined up to run in yesterday , it would take some defending to stop them all.
