So Holgate and DCL have kicked on, Davies has been good just needs consistency, Bernard is class, Richarlison is different gravy, we have the England keeper, Digne is a class full back.

Errrr, the last I looked we are a pathetic 11th in the prem with 28 points from 22 games. Out of the 2 cups and this team participated in possibly the most humiliating defeat for the club in decades last Sunday.

Hope springs eternal but its hard to rationalise reality and what people actually think.

Poor management can drag any team down, look at Man U they won the league with fergie then moyes went in and destroyed
I believe we have a decent squad which needs a few additions and a few selling. We’ve got a proven manager now so we’l see I guess...

Holgate and DCL have definitely improved, and glad to see it, though I really havent seen the same from Davies.

I feel a bit for Davies, he has had to play with terrible midfield this season ( Snides and Sigs) in there with a decent commanding midfielder, I’m sure we will see Davies improve a lot.

I agree of course that those two mentioned are rubbish. But what would Davies do differently next to anybody else ?

We could get maybe £20m for the three of them if lower clubs can cough up. Add in their wages saved and we could sign one really good player.

He's not good enough on the ball for Pep I don't think. Being comfortable with it and good with it aren't the same thing. He's the former.

The papers seem to think that a centre-back is Everton's priority in the summer (linked with the lad at Lille), and I was only thinking earlier that I wonder if it's with a view to replacing Holgate or Mina.

Makes a bit more sense now, considering Holgate's contract situation. I'd be sorry to see him go.
